The University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) is a dynamic and innovative university committed to engaging learners, transforming lives, and building community. High levels of interaction with faculty, combined with abundant opportunities for experiential learning, applied research, problem-solving and creative work, mean students are educated as local and global citizens with career-ready skills. At UFV, learning, research, and cooperative education opportunities are available locally and internationally. UFV offers six campuses and centres in the Fraser Valley and has a significant educational partnership in Chandigarh, India. With a strong emphasis on undergraduate teaching, UFV provides a supportive atmosphere for interactive learning and success. Ninety-three percent of UFV graduates says that they are satisfied or very satisfied with the overall quality of education and their decision to attend UFV. UFV offers three master's degrees; a wide variety of bachelor's degrees; majors, minors, and extended minors in many subject areas; and more than a dozen trades and technology programs; as well as access and upgrading pathways, and lifelong learning opportunities. Student clubs, campus recreation, Indigenization initiatives, and cultural events enhance student life and the university has strong varsity athletic programs including basketball, wrestling, and soccer teams competing in U SPORTS, Canada's national university league, with volleyball joining in 2020. UFV has a thriving international education department and offers multiple study abroad and exchange opportunities.
