About University of Ottawa

The University of Ottawa is the world's largest bilingual (English-French) university, where students can choose to study in French, English or both. Located in the nation's capital, the university offers ready access to major Canadian institutions. Its proximity to the Parliament of Canada, federal government departments and agencies, non-government and non-profit organizations, major libraries, research institutions and health centres adds to its character as a unique place to study. Thanks to leading-edge infrastructure and world-renowned researchers, it attracts close to $300 million in research funding each year. Its focal areas of research include health, e-society, Canada and the world, and molecular and environmental sciences.
