Our location next to North America's busiest international border crossing has encouraged key areas of research strength with significant impact including Great Lakes ecosystems and economies; cross-border issues and transportation policies and international intellectual property law. We have joint programs with international universities and as a globally engaged university, we draw 23 per cent of our students from other countries.
